The SimpleJoy | SaralAnand programme is available free to every foster care agency, orphanage, group home, and residential care provider.
Zero cost. Full implementation support. Staff training included.
Licensed agencies placing children with foster families. The programme works with foster carers, biological family contact visits, and independent visitor programmes.
Residential institutions caring for children without parental care. The programme operates in individual and small-group formats within residential settings.
Smaller residential facilities, typically 4–12 children. The programme fits within shift structures and care team schedules.
Any organisation providing 24-hour residential care for children and young people. The institutional track has been designed for this environment.
Extended-day programmes serving children from single-parent households, low-income families, and communities with high foster care rates. The programme integrates directly into after-school schedules.
Every staff member who delivers the programme completes this. Self-paced. Certificate on completion. Covers the session structure, safeguarding, documentation, and the Idea Notebook.
A 45-minute session structure designed for shift-based care environments. Individual and small-group (3-4 children) versions. Same programme content as the standard track, adapted for institutional delivery.
Session log templates compatible with standard care plan documentation formats. Designed to integrate with statutory review processes without additional administrative burden.
Physical notebooks for every child in the programme. Child-owned. Travel with the child on placement changes. Never become institutional property. Quantity based on enrolment.
Where appropriate, children in your care are matched with volunteer Entrepreneurial Foster Parents for individual sessions. The programme coordinates the matching and training.
A named programme coordinator supports your institution's implementation. Quarterly check-in calls. Access to the institutional partner network.
Brief and warm. No agenda.
Always. Done together. 4-4-4-4 cycle. Three rounds.
Watch the 60-second animated episode together. One observation each.
Completed in the session. Not sent home. Done together.
Child writes or draws one thing from the session.
Name one thing to notice before next session. Warm, unhurried goodbye.
The programme is designed to travel with the child.
When a child moves to a new placement, three things happen:
The receiving institution is notified of the child's enrolment and episode number.
The Idea Notebook travels with the child — it is the child's property.
If the child has an Entrepreneurial Foster Parent, the relationship continues remotely until a new in-person arrangement can be established.
The SimpleJoy | SaralAnand programme operates within the safeguarding framework of every institution it partners with.
Completed before any contact with children.
Trained in your institution's safeguarding procedures.
Supervised by a named institutional staff contact
Never alone with a child without the institution's consent and protocol
The programme does not override or supplement institutional safeguarding. It operates within it.
We respond to every institutional registration within 48 hours.
The programme is free. Registration is simply the beginning of a conversation.
Every child deserves a table. This is how we build one for every child.
