Two books. One complete guide for the committed reader. One practical playbook for the parent who wants to start this week.
Both by Vishnu Shanker and Nivedita Shanker.
The complete guide to building an entrepreneurial family culture at your kitchen table — one week at a time, across 52 weeks, through 10 pillars.
This book is for the parent who wants to understand why the program works before they begin, who wants the research behind every pillar, and who wants the full arc of the year in one place.
It begins on India's 35th Independence Anniversary in 1982, and ends with a letter to the adult that your child will one day become.

The short, practical companion — one pillar per section, one practice per week, one conversation to start tonight.
This book is for the parent who wants to begin immediately, who does not need the full research context, and who wants a book they can keep on the kitchen counter and open to any page.
Read it in one sitting. Then keep it within reach for the whole year.

No. The program was born in India, built in America, and designed for every family on earth. The names in the origin story are Hindi names. The foundation carries the names of two Indian parents. None of this makes the program Indian. It makes it specific—and specificity is what makes anything real. The kitchen table at the center of this work is not an Indian kitchen table. It is yours.
The program is designed for children between 8 and 18. The sweet spot is 8 to 12. But it is never too late. The principles apply at any age—including to parents.
You do not need to watch in order. Each episode is designed to stand alone. But the compound effect of watching consistently—one episode per week, for 52 weeks— is what the program is designed to produce.
